Game team Fortress 2 ini adalah game dengan teknik terbaru yang menampilkan animasi dan dengan menggunakan Source engine dima engine ini merupakan engine yang akan dipergunakan valve untuk membuat game-game selanjutnya.

Game ini pun mempunya statistik untuk semua pemainnya sehingga para pemain bisa mengetahui point dan achivement untuk mereka.

Team Fortress 2 menampilkan keahlian yang spesifik untuk setiap karakter seperti Pyro sesuai namanya karakter ini bisa membakar player lain dengan senjata utamany, Medic selain bisa menyembuhkan teman karakter ini juga mempunya senjata unik berupa peluru jarum suntik, Spy Dengan kemampuan Menyamar seperti karakter musuh.
